I feel bad for the even semi-attractive girls who get hired at Salt Works. All of the old regulars hit on them constantly. The new girl got hit on by dudes at least twenty years older than her all day today.
I know this is an old one but I just have to share this story. First of all, semi-attractive is a great way to describe the new girl. To be honest, she is nothing special. And to add salt to the wound, she is 27, divorced, and supporting herself and a child with her job at Saltworks.
Earlier today, a regular customer named Mel, who is truly a dirty old bastard, saw the new girl adjusting her pants from across the restaurant. This is what he said, loud enough for everyone to hear: “You know, you could save yourself the trouble if you just took those pants off.”
Bastard.
